Who's playing
KLTR headlines. Release The Captive plays alternative metal in the direct support slot. Broken Time brings metalcore, and Greymarch plays melodic hardcore and metalcore. All four are local acts, so the night works as a snapshot of the heavier side of the Austin scene.
What to expect
A loud, costume-friendly night of heavy music with four bands in a row. The theme leans into horror and the undead, so expect people to dress up. Anderson Mill Pub has a house sound system and a big room, and it has a long record of hosting local bands.
Why go
Anderson Mill Pub is one of the oldest bars in North Austin, with more than 40 years behind it. It is locally owned and known for backing local musicians. Along with the music, the pub has shuffleboard, darts and a patio. That makes it a good place to see homegrown metal and hardcore without a big-venue setting.
