Bicycle Repair Workshop

Does your bicycle need repairs, maintenance or a tune-up? Are you interested in learning more about how to fix your bike but don’t know where to begin? Bring your bike and join us for a free community event at Austin Public Library’s Windsor Park branch. Volunteer mechanics from Austin’s Yellow Bike Project will work with you one-on-one to repair your bicycle, make adjustments, answer questions, and guide you through some of the basic skills necessary to keep both you and your bike rolling safely. Assistance is provided on a first come, first served basis. Attendants may drop in at any point during the event, but are encouraged to come as close to start time as possible to guarantee yourself a spot. No bike repair experience is necessary and all skill levels are encouraged to attend. Don’t have a bike? Come learn about Yellow Bike’s free Earn-A-Bike Program, and all the other services they have to offer. *Supported by Fix-It Austin, A City of Austin Program
