Daniil Trifonov: A Solo Piano Recital

Described by The Times of London as “without question the most astounding pianist of our age,” Daniil Trifonov is a phenomenon. A Grammy Award winner, Musical America’s Artist of the Year, and Gramophone’s Artist of the Year, Trifonov won medals at three of the world’s most prestigious competitions in a single season - the Chopin, Rubinstein, and Tchaikovsky competitions. Martha Argerich, upon hearing him, said: “He has tenderness and also the demonic element. I never heard anything like that.” An exclusive Deutsche Grammophon artist and a composer in his own right, Trifonov’s solo recitals are events of rare intensity and beauty. His solo recital at The Mansion will be one of the most anticipated musical events this year.
