Equine Life Drawing

Equine Life Drawing invites you to slow down, observe, and sketch alongside our horses in a quiet, natural setting. No experience is needed, just a willingness to look closely and be present. We will begin with quiet drawing time with horse models and end with treats and petting the horses. Horse treats will be provided. Bring your own chair and drawing materials. We will provide canned/bottled water. Please wear closed toed shoes. The horses might think your toes are baby carrots and give them a nibble! Carpooling is encouraged! Your time here supports Black Cat Ranch’s mission to offer gentle enrichment for horses, humans, and the black cats who call our rescue home . Bring a sketchbook; we’ll provide the herd, the space, and a calm pace. Donate $10 to reserve your spot as spaces are limited. If you are experiencing financial hardship, please email z@blackcatranchtx.org for a discount coupon code.
