In the Red, Halloween closing celebration featuring the artwork of Sean Muldrow

Haus Obscura presents IN THE RED, a Halloween closing party celebrating the final night of Sean Muldrow’s exhibition darkred interior, on Friday, October 31, from 7–10 p.m. in East Austin. The evening invites guests into a dark, atmospheric gallery experience featuring candlelight, fog, contemporary art, and a little Halloween drama. A Carabuena tequila tasting will take place from 7–9 p.m., with beer and wine available throughout the evening. Costumes are encouraged. Muldrow, an Austin-based artist with a BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design and a studio at Canopy Austin, creates paintings in oil and ink that explore the subconscious, the body, and the space beyond the self. darkred interior brings these themes into focus through an immersive exhibition that invites viewers to look inward and venture into the unknown. Hosted at Haus Obscura, an independent fine-art print studio and contemporary art gallery in East Austin, IN THE RED offers one final opportunity to experience the exhibition in a setting made for Halloween after dark.
