Karaoke Night Party!

An open karaoke night where the song choices run across genres, with drinks on hand and giveaways for people who are just there to have a good time. The event is billed as a return of the regular karaoke night at Kick Butt. Expect a relaxed, social room more than a competition.

Kick Butt Coffee opened in 2007 and was started by an Austin tai chi and kung fu teacher. Staff wear karate uniforms, and the room doubles as a community stage for open mics, dance parties, concerts, comedy and trivia. It is a casual, unpretentious place to try a song in front of a friendly crowd, and the room is small enough that nobody is far from the mic.
