Lunch & Learn: Intuitive Practices in Contemporary Art

Bring your lunch. Feed you curiosity at The Contemporary Austin. Every month, drop in to the Jones Center during your lunch break for a casual hour of art history conversations. No prior art history education or experience is required! Led by art history educator and self-proclaimed art lover Kate Gibbs, each unique session will touch on a range of themes - from deeper dives into our current exhibitions to further explorations into overlooked artists and art history movements. Taking inspiration from HOST: Laura Lit at the Jones Center, Kate follows the thread of intuition and how artists like Lit work from instinct and feeling, with an openness to explore the unknown.
