Mean Jolene (Album Release) with TV's Daniel & Cast of 1000s

For the past decade, Austin indie rock mainstays Mean Jolene have built a reputation for pairing sharp-edged lyricism with hook-driven power-pop -- their songs are characterized by lush vocal harmonies, textured guitars, and an enduring DIY spirit. Their third album, Play Nice, trades some of their trademark defensive wit for a deeper examination of sobriety, womanhood, grief, healing, resilience, and love. Moving between soaring anthemic choruses and more intimate, delicate verses, Play Nice showcases how the band works together to embody the emotional weight of each song, channeling and fine-tuning their influences into a cathartic delivery of Mean Jolene's unique brand of indie pop-rock.
