Wavemakers Women and Music, the global community and cultural platform empowering women 40+ in music, the creative industries and entrepreneurship, has joined forces with Austin Woman, Central Texas’ leading media company for women, to present the third annual THRIVE – A Wellness Experience for the Whole You on Sunday, November 8, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Inn Cahoots, 1221 E. 6th Street in Austin. Immediately following THRIVE, all attendees are invited to celebrate the launch of the new Wavemakers YouTube Channel from 3–5 p.m. with live performances by some of Austin’s most fearless and formidable women musicians. Taking a fresh, holistic approach to women’s wellness, THRIVE brings together health experts, movement experiences, wellness activations and one of the most powerful forces for wellbeing: music. Designed to celebrate the many dimensions of wellness, the event invites women to explore what it means to truly thrive - from caring for the body and mind to nurturing financial health, healthy habits, personal connection and everyday wellbeing. And this year, THRIVE has even more reason to celebrate. From 3–5 p.m., the event will culminate with the launch of the new Wavemakers YouTube Channel - the first channel dedicated exclusively to discovering, celebrating and amplifying women musicians 40+ in Austin and beyond. The platform will bring their voices, stories and talent to new audiences around the world while shining a light on the extraordinary creativity and possibility at every stage of a woman’s life. THRIVE Highlights: Women’s Wellness Panel Hear from Austin founders and health innovators as they tackle some of the key health issues women are facing today - and share the meaningful solutions they are creating to address them.
