Driftwood Fall Festival is a family-friendly pumpkin patch and festival welcoming fall to the Texas Hill Country and sharing the spirit of the Driftwood agri-hood. Open every Fall at Vista Brewing’s beautiful 21-acre Hill Country ranch.
What to expect
A fenced section of the ranch holds a corn pit, hay mountain, haze maze, mini golf, a chalk wall, play structures, and pumpkin photo spots. Pumpkins are for sale, and one ticket covers the activities. Most visits take 90 to 120 minutes. Food and drinks come from Vista, and live music plays on the main stage outside the festival area on weekends.
Why go
The festival is small and unhurried, which suits families with young kids. Vista Brewing is a working brewery with a farm-to-table restaurant, an organic farm, and a big beer garden. Adults can settle in with a beer or Texas wine while the kids burn off energy. The drive out through ranchland takes about 25 minutes from downtown Austin.
