Fall Fest 2026

The day mixes demonstrations with wandering. There are raptor shows with hawks and owls, a reptile talk, and milking demos with the farm's Jersey cows. Hayrides head out to the bison, and barrel train rides run through the day. Local Austin musicians play, and the snack bar sells sausage wraps, snacks and drinks.

Crowe's Nest is a rescue sanctuary with over 250 farm animals and native Texas wildlife that can't be released. That includes bison, emus, llamas, giant tortoises and a bobcat. The farm hosts tens of thousands of school kids every year, so the shows are built to teach. Ticket money goes to animal care, which makes it an easy family outing in the countryside east of Austin.
