Mexamericon Comic Con

MexAmeriCon is Central Texas' first and only Mexican American and Latinx comic book convention (comic-con). Founded in 2018 by Austin natives Javier Salas and Nino Miranda, this event highlights Mexican American and Latinx artists, illustrators, and storytellers in graphic arts and pop culture. The family- friendly free festival features artist alleys, graphic novels, zines, manga, fan art, panel discussions, live music, cosplay, tabletop games, lotería, and artisan vendors. There will be a live music performance by Andrea Daniela, a costume contest, loteria (bingo) with prizes, and giveaway prizes for kids!
