What to expect
You play as a team or as an individual, working through clues to find the culprit before the music stops. There are raffle prizes, and food and drinks are included. Costumes are encouraged, and the best-dressed duo is crowned Prom King and Queen. The evening is built for mingling as much as sleuthing.
Why go
YNPN Austin supports the city's nonprofit professionals, and 100% of the proceeds fund its programming for the coming year. That makes it a social night out that also does some good. RichesArt is a Black-owned contemporary gallery in East Austin with colorful murals, high ceilings and an outdoor area. It is an offbeat backdrop for a prom-themed mystery.
