Trivia Night at Foxy’s Proper Pub
Thursday, October 29 at Foxy’s Proper Pub, Austin
About this event
Foxy's Proper Pub runs trivia every Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the heart of downtown Austin, two blocks off Congress. Free to play with prizes for the top teams - bring a crew or join one at the bar. A proper Irish pub doing a proper pub quiz, and an easy weeknight option for visitors staying downtown.
What to expect
This is live team trivia, and nobody needs to register a team ahead of time. Your team is whoever you sit with, so you can bring a group or join people at the bar. The pub says the top three teams win gift cards. It also sends out a few free clues by email on the morning of the game. Local trivia listings credit the questions to Not Rocket Science Trivia.
Why go
Foxy's is a proper Irish pub on Brazos Street, and it runs a proper pub quiz. It costs nothing to play, and the evening is short enough to fit before dinner plans or a night downtown. It's an easy weeknight pick if you want a pint and some friendly competition without much commitment.
