Austin Psycho
Thursday, October 29 at Rage Room Austin, Austin
About this event
Austin Psycho is a Halloween-season smash room at Rage Room Austin, themed around a killer and the city's rainy-street urban legends. You put on blood-splattered gear and break things inside a horror-movie setting. The room sits inside Duke's Adventure Golf in southeast Austin.
What to expect
Austin Psycho is a slasher-themed smash room. You suit up in blood-splattered protective gear and step into a late-night thriller set. It nods to local rainy-street urban legends. Past guests mention bats and bottles as favorites, and sessions are booked in time slots. The feel leans toward horror-movie atmosphere rather than a story you follow.
Why go
It is a seasonal twist on the rage room, and it runs only around Halloween. The theme gives smashing things a spooky edge that a standard session lacks. Rage Room Austin is a women-owned business with a pink-themed room, set inside a mini golf course on Slaughter Lane. Groups can book a session as a Halloween outing or a different kind of date night.
